Today was a session cut short because of an unfortunate motorway incident. Hayley, our Nottingham based artist, did not make it to Coventry but thankfully everyone is safe and well. The students were still able to make some progress by spending time working on their product designs. It was a chance for the group to not only explore their creative ideas further but also to give careful consideration to the techniques they would need to employ and the materials that they would like to use.

The students described these in detail in their sketchbooks and the information was passed on to Hayley so that she could order all that would be needed. Everyone is excited about the return after half term when we get our first glimpse of the printed fabrics and the students’ collection begins to take shape!
