A consistent element of the Made in the Middle exhibition since 2002 is to invite a small number of makers to exhibit alongside those selected from the open call.

This enables us to feature practices or disciplines which haven’t come through the selection or aren’t represented by many exhibitors. The invited makers tend to have a well-established practice within the region or they are exploring interesting or innovative techniques within their work.
